Woke on Wednesday morning to grey skies and sound of thunder in the distance over on the mainland around St Ilia the mountain above Orebic but this soon cleared and we spent the day "at home" swimming, packing and generally lounging around. Up at 4.45 am on Thursday morning to get the shuttle back to Korcula town for the 2 hour ferry jouney back to to Split.
Very hot in Split so after a couple of hours looking at Dicletian Palace and markets we retreated to shady café umbrellas and sat and drank coffee, eat pastries and read newspapers, until picked up by Ivan, our nice driver for transfer to airport. Uneventful trip via Frankfurt to Zurich where we were met at airport by Ruth, Marco and Sammi. So nice to see them after 2 years and there was much laughter and fun and then home to their apt in central Zurich on train.
