Wednesday 24th June Norfolk, Sufffolk and back to London

Major fiasco trying to post stuff back to NZ and then another ancestors day firstly trying to find some of Lyndsay’s Bayliss family residences on outskirts of Norwich, and then Lincoln/Scarlett ancestors in one Norfolk and one Suffolk graveyard.
Found headstone for John and Amy Brigham (plus whole swag of other Brighams) in churchyard in Brooke in Norfolk which has a very nice round towered church but at Wrentham in Suffolk could find no trace of the folks supposed to be there. Ran out of time to look further in Lowestoft, Beccles and Brockdish so will need another trip here sometime.
We had been booked to stay that night in the YHA at Cambridge but they had had a fire there the previous week and so we had to change plans so decided to also scrub the Easy Hotel at Heathrow on Thursday night and instead spend the last 2 nights in London and had booked at the refurbished St Pancreas YHA which was convenient for Eurostar for A&K and tube back to Heathrow for H& L to fly to Finland. But that meant another long afternoons drive from Suffolk back to Heathrow and hit traffic on M25 about 40 miles from airport and a bit of a crawl from there on and a couple of circuits to find the gas station before returning the car to Europcar, shuttle back to the terminal and tube into Kings Cross.
