Liberty’s,Wimbledon and Sports Direct.
Another stunning day in London-ended up being very hot in the afternoon. A&K went shopping in Oxford St at Sports Direct and made some great purchases. L&H went to Liberty’s and drooled over fine fabrics and resisted temptation to buy cos prices were astronomical. Then about 2pm caught Tube to Wimbledon and walked all around the complex, peered thru railings at Centre Court and Number 1 Court buildings, watched and talked to people who had been in the queue for 5 hour just to buy a ticket to get into grounds (before getting ticket to actually watch the tennis which may take another couple of ours). Quite fascinating to see the whole thing in action. Back to St Pancras and dinner in an Irish pub and early night ready for an early start Friday morning.
