We were really surprised and unprepared for the delicate beauty and of the alpine flowers in the meadows in the Engadin valley. The colours,texures and extrordinary varieties amazed and captured us.From the bright blue and marroon flowers down by the lake edge to white eildeweiss of the highest remote crannies of the forest (by the remaining snow pockets from last winter)..they were really fabulous.
